Coral Park, its been a great 4 years for me with you guys. This will be my final post to this site. I wish you all well in your future endeavors and know that all of you will strive for Excellence always. Go Rams!

Ramapalooza Concert!

Thursday, June 2 at 7:00pm marks the final Band of Gold Concert of the season! Please join us in this action packed concert featuring, the wind ensemble, jazz band, symphonic band, guard, various solos & ensembles topped off with the marching band. Tickets go on sale Wednesday May 25, $4 cost when bought pre-sale, $5 cost at the door! We hope you can join us in this spectacular event featuring music from the Phantom of the Opera by Weber, Council Oak by David Gillingham and Chameleon as recorded by Maynard Fergueson among other great works!

CP Band Banquet!!!

Sunday, May 15th 7-11:00pm at Royal Ballrooms, 1405 SW 107th Avenue, Suite 212 marks our annual banquet. We have worked extra hard to make it a night to remember! Tickets on sale in the band room for $30 each. Many special guests attending and special announcements will be made!!! See you all there.

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to the Band of Gold's Wind Ensemble! You guys performed amazingly last week at State Concert Band Evaluations where you earned yourselves a straight Superior rating. Not only did you achieve this great honor, but you also earned the school's 3rd Otto J. Krausshaar Memorial Award. I'm super proud of all of you and look forward to our first "Ram-a-palooza" Spring Concert on June 2, 7-9:30pm.

2010 Falcon Sound Invitational Meeting!

Parents, this weekend marks our first competition of the year. As such, we are having a parent meeting to help organize and prepare for Saturday's event by meeting this Friday after the marching band's rehearsal at 7pm. Please plan on attending this meeting if you would like to help out, we need your support. Thank you.

Parents, our first meeting of the new school year is next week Wednesday Sept. 1 at 7pm! Please join us  as our calendar has been altered quite a bit. Our first football game will be on Saturday Sept. 4 at Tropical park at 7pm. We need parental help!

Pizza Card Fundraiser

Parents,

The Domino's Pizza Card Fundraiser has begun! Please follow-up with your student. Their goal is to sell 12 cards by next week Tuesday, August 10. Take the order form to work, and sell, sell, sell. Every penny earned is helping your student achieve their goal in donations!

2010-2011 Band Camp Schedule

Week 1 - August 2-6, from 8:30am-5:00pm
Week 2 - August 10-12 (Tues.-Wed.), from 8:30am-1:00pm
Week 3 - August 16-20, from 8:30am-5:00pm

Friday, August 20th is our Pot Luck Dinner/Performance at 5:30 pm. The students will perform on our field from 5:30-6:00pm, dinner will begin when the students are packed-up and are in the cafeteria. Please bring an entree, a soda, or a desert to share with others. Please come early or send the food with your child so that we will have time to set-up the tables with the items. This is the final event of our band camp. Please coem and support your children.
